I am sometimes experiencing a weird emotion I can't describe. This emotion only appears under special circumstances. It has the same feeling nostalgia, but nostalgia is longing for the past. It is something like calmness, but calmness is about feeling no irritating emotions. Maybe it is closer to interest. Yes, this is the closest I can.
I had to find a name for this emotion, but there was none. So I made one - REV, short for Revelations. While I was naming this, I was browsing articles of Ragnarök and the Book of Revelations.
The ''special circumstances'' I mentioned before are clear. The most important factor is the setting. It has to be in the late evening or night. The place is not really important - the city, the outskirts, the village or a forest. Old structures, especially those from the gothic era, are great. Illumination should be minimum (street lamps are okay). It is greater if the skies are clear and the moon is bright. I usually get this in winter because the days are shorter.
I am actively searching for pictures holding this emotion, but I have decided to make some myself in the future. I'll maybe post them on this blog.
